Why does the wrinkling problem occur in synthetic paints and how is it solved?
Wrinkling of the paint film is a problem observed when using synthetic paints. The main reason for this is that not enough time is allowed for drying time between layers and excessive paint is applied to the surface. Since the thick paint layer on the surface prevents the base coat from drying, the wrinkling problem will arise. This problem is caused by application error. For the solution of the problem, if the wrinkled paint on the surface is still tacky, it should be allowed to dry hard for the solution of the problem. After the paint has dried completely, the surface should be smoothed by sanding and the application should be repeated in the manner as stated on the legend information.
