DYO reached 44,471 students in 15 cities

The “Value for Tomorrow” project, designed with the principles of sustainability in order to build a better future, was launched in three different categories: “Value for Students”, “Value for Paint Masters” and “Value for Schools”.  DYO keeps adding value to life with its Corporate Social Responsibility Projects. DYO, realizing the “Value for Students” Project in order to crate and raise esthetical value for color, space, heat and light in living interiors, more than 44,471 students in 114 schools in 15 cities between 2015-2019. 

Within the scope of the project, which was started for the first time in 2015, training was given to administrators, class teachers and members of the school-parent union in charge between 2015-2019, so contact with a group of 145,835 persons was enabled. While 44,471 students were reached in 114 schools in 15 provinces, and children were supported to have awareness raised about aesthetic values.

A MEASURABLE MODEL OPEN TO DEVELOPMENT

The Turkish paint Sector's leading company DYO's "Value for Students" project, aiming to create a model open to development which can be expanded and measured, was started for grade 2,3 and 4 students. Within the scope of the project, presentations were prepared pursuant to the educational contents based on Visual Arts course achievements respectively for separately for grades 2, 3 and 4 of the primary school. With these presentations, the project trainers gave information about the items that make up the space under the title "space", primary and secondary colors, warm and cold colors, temperature and lighting under the title "color", considering the grade levels of the students. Educational presentations were supported by various classroom activities for the topics to be better perceived by children.

Aiming to increase children's interest in science and art, DYO presented Techno Art Sets as gifts to children in cooperation with GYA and Twin Robotics in 2019. With the materials in this set, prepared to increase the interest in science and art, the children had the opportunity to do 4 different experiments. While the children participated in fun activities where science met art with the DYO Techno Art Set, containing technological tool sets and gouache paints in various colors to develop children's creativity and make science popular for them, they also had the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have acquired regarding color in the Learning to Color trainings. DYO aims to support 2,500 elementary school students by giving them a techno art set and encourage them to dream about their future jobs, including science and art.
 
The project which continued with the support by the Provincial National Education Directorates of Adana, Antalya, Bursa, Gaziantep, Kocaeli, Samsun, Trabzon, Balıkesir, Denizli, Isparta, Mersin and Manisa as well as that of the İstanbul Ümraniye, Kadıköy and Kağıthane, Ankara Çankaya, İzmir Çiğli and  Bayraklı, Kayseri Kocasinan and Erzurum Yakutiye District National Education Directorates until today and contact has been established with teachers, administrative units and parents, keeping the students in the heart of the project.
